Quality Labradors and Goldens
Sassy, Sunny and Sadie just had to have a page of their own. After all, they think they are dogs!
Sassy moved to Hawaii with us in 1991. She is the daughter of a wild cat that my friend found in her yard with a litter of kittens. She never could touch the mother, but was able to befriend the kittens. At 17, Sassy is the matriarch of the family. We sure wish our dogs could live this long.
Sunny was bred by our friend. Her mother was a red tabby Persian and her father was a "Mystery Man". I had told my friend that if she ever had a pure white kitten, that I wanted it. In her next litter, Sunny was born!
Sadie was adopted from the Maui Humane Society at four months of age. We had just lost our "mostly" Persian kitten Stormy to a heart problem and Sadie came into our lives to help fill the void. She was "Miss July" in the Maui Humane Society calendar for 2004. She and Sunny are good friends, but Sassy just tolerates her.
